SRHR

Sexual and reproductive health and rights

The sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of adolescent migrants and migration-affected communities is a concern worldwide and a public health issue needing urgent attention from governments and other human development agencies.

In Southern Africa, the vulnerability of populations in communities along migration corridors – particularly adolescents and young people (AYP), migrants and sex workers and their clients – is compounded by their limited access to, and the poor quality of sexual and reproductive health and rights services currently available to them.
