Improving SRHR-HIV outcomes for migrants, adolescents and young people and sex workers in migration-affected communities in Southern Africa


This project aims to assist target populations to have improved access to quality sexual and reproductive health and HIV services and greater freedom of choice regarding their sexuality.

The sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) of adolescent migrants and migration-affected communities is a concern worldwide and a public health issue needing urgent attention from governments and other human development agencies. This project aims to:

  • Contribute to greater freedom of choice for migrants, adolescents and young people, and sex workers in migration affected communities regarding their sexuality
  • Assist migrants, adolescents and young people, and sex workers to have improved access to and use of integrated sexual and reproductive health – HIV services and quality health care
  • Promote respect for the sexual and reproductive health rights of migrants, adolescents and young people, and sex workers
